Xarops means "syrups" but in Catalan we understand it as "medicinal syrups"- a tribute to the traditional role of food as healing and the founder’s roots. At Xarops, we’re reimagining this concept for today’s women, creating functional beverages designed to support the body’s changing needs throughout the hormonal cycle.
Our initial product line focuses on the four phases of the menstrual cycle: menstruation, follicular, ovulation, and luteal phase each requiring distinct metabolic, macro and micronutrient support. These beverages are formulated to align with the body’s neuroendocrine and immune fluctuations, addressing nutritional gaps that conventional products often overlook.
But our vision doesn’t stop there. As women’s bodies evolve, so do their needs — that’s why future products will address key life stages and conditions including perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, and more.

The Woman Behind the Vision
Anna Segarra, CEO and Founder of Xarops, is a food scientist from Barcelona with a deep-rooted passion for women’s wellness. After earning her degree in Food Science and Technology, she pursued a Master’s in Women’s Health and Nutrition. The idea for Xarops began to take shape before she moved to Canada — and thanks to the support of Incubadora Solutions, it is now becoming a reality.
